2 AHS Grads are 500 Festival Princesses

Two Avon High School graduates — Briana Begeman and Michaela Di Palmo — have been chosen to serve as 500 Festival Princesses for the months leading up to the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 this Memorial Day weekend.

Begeman, a sophomore at IU, and Di Palmo, a senior at IUPUI, will join 31 other young women from across the Hoosier State selected for this prestigious role based upon their leadership and academic skills. This will certainly be a memorable spring as, together, they contribute more than 1,500 community service hours across the state.
