AHS Juniors to Host TEDx Event

Members of the AHS TEDx Club are hosting TEDx Avon High School. This special event is by AHS students, for AHS students and members of the community. The goal: to spark community engagement.

TEDx Club leaders, juniors Jay Desai and Maxwell Hunter are "organizing this event so that we can spark new ideas in the community and bring the community together," according to Desai. He continues, "This event has a whole variety of topics and speakers - we hope that anybody who attends this event leaves with a new perspective and having learned something new. We also wanted to create a platform for students to share their passions, especially outside of competitive environments like Speech & Debate."

Date: Wednesday, April 15
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
