Attend the 2022 Youth Vaping Summit
How much do you know about vaping? What can you do to help someone break the habit or prevent it in the first place? If you need more information, tools, and resources, make plans to attend this event.
"AHS recognizes that vaping is one of the most popular substance use trends among teens despite mounting evidence of its health risks and harms," says AHS Principal Matt Shockley in a message to parents. "Parents may face similar challenges or simply lack knowledge and information about teen [vaping] and its dangers. We want to partner with you to learn about teen vaping in our school community."
The Willow Center is hosting a free 2022 Youth Vaping Summit for Hendricks County and Westside Indianapolis school districts at Avon High School. The event will feature a Q&A panel composed of students who have been affected by vaping, a brief educational session, and presentations by substance use and mental health professionals.
