Avon Media Wows Community & Business Leaders

Avon High School students and teachers who participate in Avon Media — Broadcasting, Newspaper, and Yearbook — attended Dr. Wyndham's winter Community & Business Leader Luncheon recently and wowed the more than three dozen business, nonprofit, and civic leaders who were in attendance.

The guests from all corners of the Avon-Washington Township community enjoyed district updates and lunch from Greek's Pizzeria, but they were most impressed by Avon Media.

The students who presented their work are each succeeding academically through their participation in Broadcast, Newspaper, and Yearbook, but it's the incredibly important life lessons that they'll carry with them, lessons about self-confidence, retaining an open mind, practicing journalistic ethics, listening well, working as a team, seeing projects through to completion, and much more.
