Celebrating Student Successes
The Avon Board of School Trustees had their hands full at their May 8 meeting. They celebrated multiple individuals and groups of students for their recent successes.
- HOSA Future Medical Professionals — Regina Edo, Madison Haggard, Camryn McCollum, Amelia Markelin, and Alexis Faust — won first place for their public service announcement.
- Skills USA — Otto Campbell and teammate Bennett Schirmer — won the state competition in the Mechatronics category.
- Drumline — represented by Jake Lobosky — went undefeated in regular season competitions and won the state championship.
- Indoor Winds — represented by Cameron Wagner — went undefeated in regular season competitions and won the state championship.
