Introducing AHS's New Assistant Principal
We are excited to welcome a new Assistant Principal, Lucas Klipsch, to the team at Avon High School. At their May 12 meeting, the Avon Board of School Trustees approved him as the high school's newest addition. He will begin this summer and he will replace Dr. Aaron Willis, who is moving out of state to take on a new role.
Mr. Klipsch spent eight years as an Assistant Principal at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. In 2022, he took a position outside of education only to realize a renewed sense of calling and a desire to return to public school administration. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Indianaplis and a Master's of Education from Indiana Wesleyan.
