Several Avon High School students received recognition at this year's Scholastic Art and Writing competition. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards is a national art and writing competition for middle and high school students to showcase their creativity and talent. The Competition is broken down by region, and if a student wins a Gold Key in their region, their work is sent on to the national competition to be judged again for the potential of more accolades.

We are very proud of our hard-working and well deserving students’ work! Below is a list of winners and the awards they received.

An awards ceremony is being held at Marian University on March 5 to congratulate Gold and Silver Key winners and students who received Honorable Mention. Gold Key winner artwork will be displayed at the Art Garden in Indianapolis and at Marian University over the next several months. We will find out at the end of March if any of our Gold Key winners won an award at the national level.
